How Promo Codes Work

Tips for Promo Codes
Promo codes can be very useful to drive new business, sales and reward existing customers. We’ve outlined 4 tips on how to get the most out of your restaurant promo codes.
- Goal Setting and Testing: Set a specific target or goal with your promotional campaign. Once it’s done, revisit the results and iterate. Then test again!
- Promote it on Social Media: Social media is the most cost effective way to promote a promotion or promo code. Ensure you’re posting and letting your followers know about the offer.
- Promote it via Print: Although not as fancy as social media, printed materials that serve a purpose, can be quite effective at driving business and communicating your promotion
- Percent Off vs. $ Dollar Off Promotions: As a rule of thumb, follow the Rule of 100 when deciding between percent off and dollar off promotions. Rule of 100: If the price is $100 or more, use a dollar off promotion. If the price is under $100, use a percent off promotion.
